I have an emergency for help from one of my dear sweet scouter friends. Her family home was hit by the wicked storms that ran through Muncie last Sunday. They have quite the debris field to pick up (barn walls, glass, splintered trees, etc.) She is asking for ANY help you can give on Saturday (10 a.m. to whenever) See email for address. Family is the Millers (if you show up tell them Dawn sent you, we will be there around 10 a.m)
Here’s how we can help. Come give some time this weekend to help a family truly impacted by the tornado. Wear work boots (fields still quite wet), leather gloves (nails and glass), bring heavy duty trash bags, wheel barrows, dust masks, shovels, chain saws, and the like. She said she will take ANY help. Do you have a scouting unit that needs service hours? Why not give back to one of our own. Hope to see you.
