Troop 101,
For those of you who will be attending the Electonics Lock-in, we’re looking forward to a great night. The evening will start with Check- in at 7 pm at the Noblesville United Methodist Church in “The Vine” where we meet downstairs. Then, sign up for the Mario Kart Championship will be from 7:00 to 7:30. The karting will begin shortly after 7:30. We will be showing the Lord of the Rings movies in the main room the whole evening. We’ll have pizza at 9:00 and our time with our visiting Webelos will end at 11:00 pm. We will serve a treat at 1 am. Pick up to go home is at 7 am sharp. (Parents, please be prompt. The 9 adults staying overnight will be ready to go home after our 12 hour marathon.)
If you are bringing a game console (Xbox, PlayStation, Wii, etc.) There will be a limited number of TVs at the church that we can use. You can also bring a TV of your own to use. Also, feel free to bring any hand held gaming devices (Nintendo DS, PSP, etc.) you’d like to play on. If you would like to bring board games or card games, that’s fine too.
The Webelos from area packs will be joining us from 7 to 11 pm. They will be trying to decide if they would like to crossover to Troop 101. Let’s make sure that we put our best foot forward and make them feel welcome while they are there. Include them by asking them to play a game with you! It is also important that we hold off on playing games like first person shooters and other games that might be inappropriate for Webelos until after they leave at 11 pm. You will have the remaining 8 hrs of the night to play those kind of games.
Adults who are participating, we’ll play games too. I plan to bring my PlayStation 2 and play Gauntlet during the evening. We can also play board games, card games and other video games. I’m really looking forward to seeing you guys there.
This should be an awesome time for all! We’ll see you there.
Yours in Scouting,
Scott Vowels
