I have a fun service opportunity for you! Pack 315 needs some help with their Pinewood Derby on March 17 from 10 am – 12 noon. They are looking for some boys to help run some fun stations, help run the derby, and maybe help with a refreshments stand. The stations might include a Lego building area, board/card game area, knots, or other fun things for cub scouts. For participating and helping with the event, you’ll get 2 hours of service and a chance to race a pinewood derby car if you build one or bring a previously built one to the event.
This is a great opportunity to help out some younger scouts and to have fun doing it. These younger scouts look up to you boy scouts because you’re older and they think you’re awesome. This is a chance to show cub scouts how much fun being a Boy Scout can be. If you’re interested in this service opportunity, email me at and let me know.
