Troop 101,
For those scouts and adults attending the Indiana Dunes campout this weekend, please arrive at the Home Depot parking lot on Friday 7/27 no later than 5:45 and check in with Mr. Manro & Mr. Goodrich. Upon arrival we will load our gear into the trailer and then depart for Indiana Dunes State Park around 6pm. We will be traveling in our class A uniforms, and you will need to have already had dinner before we hit the road. Make sure you check the Weekend Camping Checklist attached in this email to ensure you have all of the appropriate items for an enjoyable weekend. The forecast this weekend shows highs in the mid-70s and lows in the low 60s, and be sure to pack a swimsuit and towel in case you want to enjoy the beach. The Troop will be returning to the Home Depot parking lot around 11am on Sunday 7/29, and scouts will call ahead to verify arrival time.
Jason Manro and Chuck Goodrich will be Scoutmasters in charge for the weekend, and their phone numbers will are available in the email that was sent out if you need to reach either of them. Please make sure to remember and bring any medications needed, and turn them in to either Mr. Goodrich or Mr. Manro when you check in. Also, please be mindful of the Troop policy regarding electronic devices, including cell phones, MP3 players or iPods, handheld gaming devices and the like is that they are allowed to be used during travel to or from the activity or campout, but they are NOT to be used while we are at our Activity. Adults that are driving will need $7 for each vehicle entry into the park that will be reimbursed by the troop.
