Wagon Pulling

Hello Troop 101!

As mentioned last night at the meeting, with summer upon us, it is time once again to think of volunteering at Conner Prairie for Symphony on the Prairie. This year, they have expanded the concert lineup to go from June 1st through September 7th with an incredible range of acts.

“What can I do?”, you are probably asking yourself? Well, as in years past, we have spots for Scouts to work prior to the show starting to pull a wagon and assist the show attendees move all of the gear and food they bring in to where they plan to sit. This is done for tips, so it does not count as service hours but it is a great way to earn money for your Scouting activities and meet a lot of great people.

Attached is an FAQ with some of the basic information about Wagon Pulling. If you have any questions, please get with me (Jeff Kozicki) either in person or by e-mailing [email protected] or texting 765-481-0822 (please put your name in any text as I don’t have everyone in the Troop in my phone).

If you are interested in Wagon Pulling this year, we have moved into the 21st Century and are using Signup Genius to track the sign-ups. Our sign-up can be found at:

I would request that you only sign up for a maximum of two spots to start, so that everyone gets a chance (we have 63 spots for the entire season). I have gone ahead and added in everyone that signed up at the meeting last night. When you sign up, please make sure your e-mail is correct as I send out additional details to those working about a week before their show/spot.

Thanks and have a great time.
