Hello Everyone,
I have started the process of sending each of you an email letting you know what your position is in the troop and your status of YPT and hazardous weather. You will need this information to fill out the recharter when it goes live.
Please understand if you are involved with the scouts at all you need to have YPT (youth protection training) this includes even if your status is that of parent but you are attend patrol outings and having outings at your house. This is for everyone’s protection.
If you are registered as committee member then you need to have Troop Committee Challenge and YPT.
If you want to attend any cam pouts or summer camp then you must be registered at a Scouter Reserve at a minimum and have YPT and hazardous weather training. Sorry there are no exceptions to this.
If you are registered as an Assistant Scoutmaster or Scoutmaster then you have to have OLS, Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmaster specific training, YPT and hazardous weather.
Any aged out 18 year olds will register as unit scouter reserve and need to have YPT
