Here are the details for the Good Turn for Nature service event here in Hamilton County. You will be working side by side with other Cub Packs and Troops from Hamilton County.
Good Turn For Nature – Noblesville
Date: Saturday, September 24th
Time: 9 am to 12 noon
Location: 208 Division St. Noblesville
Activity:In this location, the day’s activities will support an ongoing project by the City of Noblesville along the White River Trail. Volunteers will work to remove invasive species along the river bank, remove debris and litter from the undergrowth, as well as provide assistance with cutting down overgrowth to allow planted trees to thrive. The City of Noblesville will provide plenty of parking, water, and portable restroom facilities, in addition to the tools and supplies necessary for all aspects of the project. Educational material on the effects of pollution and the importance of conservation will also be available. Long pants are recommended.
Make sure you sign up for this event. This is a great way to get your conservation service hours for either Life Rank or Camping merit badge or just to earn service hours.
