Troop 101 Effort With Noblesville Flooding – Troop 101 Noblesville, IN

Hello Troop 101, With all the flooding many businesses and families have lost everything. This affects all of us, this is our town and community. We are scouts and so we need to do what we do best – volunteer, help and serve. Part of Teter is currently under 12 feet of water, so when the water goes down we will be helping to clean up the trails of all the debris. In the meantime, NFUMC is taking collections and they are asking for bottled water, blankets, non-perishable snacks, spare or new/gently used clothing. We will start collecting at Mondays Troop meeting.
This would be a great patrol activity going around your neighborhood asking for these donations. I will keep you posted on additional ways that we can help our community with clean up or other volunteer opportunities.
Thank You,
Melanie
