Scouts and adults can enjoy a laid back weekend tent camping during the beginning of the fall weather! Campfire smore’s, race your fellow scouts up the fire tower, hike the trails, fishing, playing some games, observe the bison in their natural habitat and more.
History Ouabache State Park is located along the Wabash River near Bluffton. Originally operated as Wells County State Forest and Game Preserve in the early 1930s. Through the efforts of the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) and the WPA (Works Progress Administration), the area was developed for wildlife management, forestry demonstration, and recreation.
