The Atomic Penguins are going to do a service project this Saturday, November 11th and I wanted to open it up to any other Scouts that would like service hours.
Nspire Church is renovating a former pole barn in Westfield to use as its new location. The church is in the final stages of the renovation and has a lot of drywall to hang, screws needing to be put in the siding and drywall, and painting of the exterior (weather permitting). They could use as many helping hands as we can send.
The pole barn is located at 1189 E. 181st street in Westfield. It’s actually the other half of the newly renovated Grand Junction Brewery Co. Tap Room. The work block is going to run from 5am to noon if anyone would like to help during any portion of that time. I just need to give a rough head count and general age of Scouts.
