Summer Camp Merit Badge and Project Costs

We are getting closer to Summer Camp!  If you haven’t been able to tell yet – I’m excited.  I was down at Ransburg on Tuesday for a visit and it was BEAUTIFUL!  I just cannot wait to spend a whole week there with the Scouts and Adult Leaders.  It is such a great time and a great place. 

Several of you have inquired about the costs or supplies associated with Merit Badge classes.  All of those things have already been purchased, and the costs will be charged to your Scout Account by Ms. Murray, our Troop Treasurer.  You are welcome to speak with her directly about settling that part of your account.  Following Summer Camp, she will prepare statements with your current Scout Account balance or deficit.  Thanks for taking the time in the coming weeks to make sure it is current.  

Any Scout who has a class that needs project supplies, or has a fee associated with it, you will receive your supplies or fee tickets at camp on Sunday afternoon from your Patrol Mentor.  They will be given out along with your new Class B t-shirt and a copy of your merit badge class schedule on Sunday afternoon.  Naturally, if you don’t have classes with supplies or fees required, you will just receive the new t-shirt and your schedule.  AFTER DINNER on Sunday, we will all change out of our Class A’s into our new Class B’s for the Opening Night Campfire.
